A Busoga Hernia in Dhaka : A Case Report

Abstract

A case of &saga hernia is described for the first time in Bangladesh. A 72 year old BO• presented m a private consultation with a 12 hour history of painful swelling in the right groin. Surgical explorntion revealed an omentocoele herniating through a l on diameter defect in the conjoint tendon. This was diagnosed so be a &maga hernia (direct hernia of futticular Opel. The candilion ass managed by hentiotomy and hentiorrhophy. Recovery was aneventfid.
