Salvaging The Thumb: Manipal Hopsital Experience

Abstract

From the period of 2002-01-01 to 2003-11-30 all the thumb saltuge procedures at Arnim! leaching Hospital were included. There were a total number of 15 races. The mean age was 35.06 rears and 3/15 (13.3391,3 acre females and 13/15 184.67%) were males. The mean number of procedures done to achieve patient satisfaction was 1.8 with a minimum of l and maximum a f 3. The average time period for the.fitud satisfactory appearance andfimrtion MIS 20 dots. The first procedure attempted was hipedicled flap la groin flap (5). replatuation (2). radial forearm flap di and as:euphoric reconstruction (1). We did not hare any digit loss after decision to sal age was taken.
